The second in the Dark King series, Shatter Souls, will be up for sale soon, and I've finished book three, as well. Now for the cover... Oh, and if any of you were wondering, no I don't get tremendous sales from these, but they do pay for the gas, about $200.00 a month to get my daughter to her special school, so many thanks for supporting my marginal work. ^_^ For some reason some people think that it should all be about the art and that I shouldn't have ulterior motives for my books. I say to that, I have a talent. I will always do whatever it takes to take care of my family. If my art helps, then I will write books for my family. It's never been about fame/getting published/or any of that. In fact. I've always loved being edgy and able to do what I want artistically. I don't fit into a commercial mold and, really, I can't think of that as a bad thing where I'm concerned. I'm really a lot happier playing in the fandom and doing what I like with my friends. ^_^'

I've been friending a lot of authors on Facebook. While most are very nice people, a few amaze me by how they treat their fans. So, let me just make it clear:
I am nothing without the people who read my work. Fans are not a chore or a necessary evil, they are a blessing, every last one of them. While I may get cranky sometimes, because I'm only human, and yes, make mistakes (Heavy sigh), I hope I never take a single person who enjoys my work for granted. I never want to make the mistake of thinking that I'm doing them a favor by bestowing my *dubious* talent on them. *chuckles* Every time I sell a book, or someone leaves a nice comment on my fanfiction, I think, 'Wow, fantastic. Thank you!' May I never, ever think that it is 'my due'. So, a heartfelt thank you to all my fans, because you are definitely my friends, as well, and I appreciate every one of you. *Hugs* ^_^

Had a question posed to me that I thought that I should answer:
Why spend so much on sending an art card when I could use the money elsewhere (Bills, dentist, etc.)?
Answer: The money for the art card is yours, not mine. I put that money away all year for this express purpose. Maybe I have to do a bit of work for it, but that's all right with me. It's worth it to give a bit of joy to everyone who constantly supports me and makes my life filled with joy as well. I'm thanking you and that's very important to me and Jon,my husband, who supports this effort every year with gusto. He even helps with the layout. ^_^
That being said, I'm counting on at least a hundred requests and I only have 65 so far. *Pokes everyone for more*

We're removing Angel Within from the amazon website. They have decided that they need to charge us for 'account upkeep'. Since we sell far more books through our own website, and amazon has permanently posted the few bad reviews the book received at the top of the list, I don't see any reason to keep it there. I think seven years was a good run for any book. Thank you, everyone, who bought it there. We ordered more copies, last year, so we do have a few boxes left to sell through the website.

Fire and Ice (Sorry for the long hiatus) this part is complicated, and short, with a rather large finish, so I'll post this bit for now.
I recommend a manga by Keiko Tobe, called With the Light. It's about a family with an autistic son, and it is absolutely true to life in how they have to deal with their community and school system, trying to do what's best for their child. I have an autistic daughter much the same as the boy in the manga. It can be found on Amazon.com. The mangas are each Harry Potter size books, so the price, for each, is understandable. ^_^

Sorry for the lack of updates, but things have been hectic.
I won't be doing a Christmas card this year, because postage has gone up enough to make it out of reach of my ability to pay. Times are tough for everyone, and donations to the Kracken website have been almost nonexistant, which is very understandable. So, I shall be posting my pic online, instead, on Christmas day. I'm using my oil paints, this year, and putting it on canvas, instead of using CGA, so it should be something different... hopefully, a good kind of different. ^_^
