"Duo can't sleep it off at the bar, Quatre. It may have been his idea to celebrate... what did he call it? Un-holiday-day? In this seedy local bar, and, yes, they may be friends of his, too, here, but I'm not trusting anyone to watch his back, while he sleeps it off, that I don't personally know."
"You're drunk as well."
"Not that drunk. I'll call a cab."

"Me, no, especially where Trowa is concerned. You can trust my Maguanacs, though. They'll be taking care of everything."

"Quatre didn't trust me to bring you home, last night."

"He thought... well, he thought that I might be the one in there sleeping with you."
"He didn't trust you? What a dumbass!"

"That still doesn't explain why I have all of those hairy, snoring men asleep in the bedroom."
"I insisted on going with them when they took you to the apartment. They didn't want to leave you alone with me, per Quatre's orders."
"Didn't they wonder why you had a key?"
"I think Rashid lifted an eyebrow."
"Why the hell would Quatre pick this party to get protective?"
"He suspects that we have a mutual interest, Duo. He's just being protective."
"Well, he should have been protective, oh, say, 120 parties ago. That was one hell of an eye opening night."
"For the both of us. I think we took the 'keeping our relationship under cover' too far, though."
"Well, partners can't fraternize, remember?"
"Quatre isn't going to be in the dark forever."
