Thirty Second Gundam Wing
Uhm, lemon... kind of...
"So.... are you going to answer my question?" Heero asked, hunched over his beer and trying very hard to ignore their surroundings.
"How do you know if you're gay?" Duo repeated softly, leaning over the table towards Heero as if they were trading secrets.
Heero glanced up and saw Duo's grin. His hands clenched on his mug and then he began to get up. "It was a serious question. If you've brought me here just to amuse yourself at my expense..."
"WHy ask me?" Duo wanted to know as he grabbed Heero's hand and kept him from leaving."You could have just asked one of the medics, or gone to a specialist...or-"
"Because you're gay," Heero grated out as he settled sullenly in his chair again. "Unless I was given false information...?"
"Ah," Duo smirked. "Go right to the source. Who told you?"
"Trowa," Heero admitted uncomfortably.
Duo cocked his head to one side and seemed irritated and disappointed. "You didn't know until then? I thought I was being pretty obvious, buddy boy."
Heero shrugged, gave the seedy bar a withering glance, and then stared into his mug of beer intently as he said, "Just... answer my question... I want out of here."
"Okay, okay," Duo soothed. "I'll get your answer right now."
Duo stood up and stretched. He had taken time to change before their trip to the bar. He was wearing skin tight black jeans that showed a distinct curve of 'package'. His half red shirt lifted as he stretched hands over his head to reveal a long, lean expanse of waist. Heero openly stared... until he realized that Duo was grinning down at him.
Duo sat again and said, "There's your answer."
Heero blinked. "What?"
Duo shook his head in exasperation and motioned all around them at the numerous, almost naked women all around them, some of them dancing erotically on a stage, and others serving customers at their tables. "You're surrounded by huge titties, Heero. Your waitress almost jammed them in your face a minute ago when she gave you your beer. Who did you just look at, though? Them or me?"
Heero swallowed. "You," he admitted softly.
Duo nodded. "So, case closed. You're gay." He gave Heero a curious look. "So, why did it take so long for you to start wondering? Usually you start thinking about that sort of thing at puberty."
"Can we go now?" Heero asked, not answering.
"Sure," Duo replied and followed Heero out of the bar and to his car. Climbing inside, and closing the doors, the sudden silence was almost deafening.
Heero sat, running hands over the steering wheel for a moment, before he said,"I need to trust, to have someone who understands me... Finding someone I can..."
Duo nodded, understanding."You don't have to explain. I know what it's like to spend a childhood being on guard, being a soldier. You're the church preaching to the choir." He looked at Heero curiously, a bit of pain sitting behind his eyes. "So, you think you've found someone... a guy someone... who you can let your guard down with?"
Heero nodded. He gnawed on his bottom lip and then looked at Duo with intense blue eyes, as if he were ready for a fight. "You... I think I can trust you."
Duo started and then grinned. "Me?" He looked relieved suddenly."Man! And here I thought I was going to have to strip naked and do a dance in front of you to get you to notice me! I've been trying to get your attention for months!"
Heero blushed. "I thought... I didn't think..."
"You just thought I was a great big flirt, wearing Preventer uniforms two sizes too small?" Duo snorted.
Heero blushed harder. Duo leaned in, leather seats making a noise as he went almost nose to nose with Heero.
"You can trust me, Heero," Duo said softly and then gave the man a tentative kiss. Heero grabbed him and deepened it. Slowly, they sank down into the seat.
Two women, barely dressed, and smoking their cigarettes outside the bar, looked disappointed.
"Told you they were gay," one groaned.
"I believe you said, hon, 'Those two hot guys are mine.',"the other reminded her.
"Until I knew, for a fact, they were gay," the first retorted.
They both took long drags on their cigarettes and then the first asked reluctantly, "Go back inside? We're missing out on tips."
The first stared at the car, quickly fogging up,"Ain't getting any out here, that's for sure."
They retreated back into the bar just as a bare foot planted itself on the
windshield and the blinkers went on as someone inadvertently bumped into the
