"DNA scan at your last physical. I had Sally run a complete diagnostic. She was able to pinpoint the exact moment of your birth."
"Exact?"
"Well, almost exact."
"I'm skeptical, here. How almost exact?"
"All right, since you want to spoil it, withing a few months."
"So, really, you just picked a day... at random?"
"If you want to put it that way..."
"Why now, Heero?"
"Hmm?"
"Why right now? Why did you pick it?"
"Because the sun is coming up and it's making you look...very handsome in your black ops gear. It made me decide something. I want this moment to be memorable and marked on the calendar, every year."
"Handsome?"
"Very."
"Are you saying...?"
"It's about time that I did say something. Duo, I've been attracted to you. I've just been waiting for the right moment to tell you."
"This is the right moment, Heero?"
"We may not make it out of here-"

"I suppose you'll have a nicely typed up report, that I can read, that will explain why a small operation ended with you two tied and held hostage?"
"It's embarrassing."

"Why did you move in, Fei? He could have shot us, like he threatened."
"Because, Maxwell, I thought that a man couldn't be very experienced, or deadly, when his demands included, 'A paid day at the local water park.' I felt certain that he wasn't a killer."
"I dunno, that water park is a lot of fun, Fei."

"Heat of the moment? Chang was right about the water park demand. I wasn't worried."

"Then, if we've decided that this is, officially, my birthday, can we make it REAL special?"
