"Duo, please come out."
"No.Never."
Heero sighed. Sitting in a chair next to the bathroom door, he tried to understand. "There isn't any food. You'll starve."
"Probably," the muffled voice replied, as pouty as a child.
"Then at least talk to me," Heero urged. "Tell me what I did wrong?"
"You didn't do anything wrong," Duo replied quickly and then more slowly,"I just... I dunno..."
"I didn't... make you feel bad?" Heero tried again, suddenly worried. "I didn't hurt you?"
Duo made an exasperated snort. "I can kick your ass, Yuy, and you know it. You didn't... take advantage... or hurt me..."
"Them what?" Heero demanded. "Why don't you want to face me?"
"I feel... weird," Duo replied after a long moment.
"Weird?" Heero tried to think of all the implications of that. "Physically? There is some...," he thought about wording. "difficulties... afterward. Did that alarm you?"
A very long pause and then... "I didn't... yeah... kind of... but it's just... We... did that... together... it's hard... I feel embarrassed, like I don't want to see you... cuz'... you'll laugh at me or..."
"I don't think less of you Duo," Heero said with feeling. "I didn't conquer you, force you to submit, make you into... I love you. We were making love. Didn't you feel that?"
"I was too busy... just getting my head around it, I guess," Duo replied slowly. "Just getting off."
Heero snorted and then stood up. "Duo, I want to see you. I want to be with with you. Please, come out?"
The door opened reluctantly, and Duo said softly, "Guess... Guess you think I'm an idiot..."
Duo peeked around the door at Heero, but Heero was already reaching out and taking Duo into strong arms.
"No," Heero told him as he held him tight and refused to let Duo look anywhere but into his eyes."I love you. I don't want you to be ashamed of what we did together.If it bothered you that much,we won't do it again.We'll just be close friends."
"Not do it again?" Duo looked at Heero incredulously. "Are you nuts?" He bumped his pelvis against Heero's and managed a nervous grin. "I may be a bit... shy... about all of this, but that was the most fantastic thing I ever felt. Hell, ya, I want to do it again."
Heero let out a sigh of relief. "Good, because I don't think I could have done that, just be friends... not after tonight."
Duo chuckled, losing his embarrassment all at once. "Then maybe you can help me get over my shyness?"
Heero gently led Duo back to the tumbled bed. "I'll try, as long as it takes..."
