Trained as an assasin by Odin Lowe at a young age, Heero is set adrift when a hit goes bad and Odin is seriously injured. He is discovered wandering the streets by Dr. J, a rebel fighting for the cause of the colonists. Trained to be their, 'perfect soldier', Heero is disallusioned when a mission goes bad and a housing complex is accidentally destroyed. He is retrained, but he never loses his need for attonement and comes to believe that his mission in life is only to fight and win battles for the colonies and peace..When he is sent on operation meteor, to Earth, he meets Relena Peacecraft and she becomes his symbol of peace.
